Okay, no it's not. Jason likes his privacy ... But it's basically the same dude.

Jason has worked in IT his entire adult life and has been a gamer for his entire existence. These two facts explain almost everything.

HellaNerdy started as a simple idea that spiraled out of control, much like Casual Friday. One day you’re allowed to wear jeans to the office. The next day, someone’s wearing a hoodie with a deeply specific joke that only five people understand. This brand lives in that space.

Our mission is simple: create clothing and apparel that empower the inner nerd. We champion nerd culture in all its forms, from tech and gaming to science, logic, sarcasm, and the quiet satisfaction of knowing you’re right. We believe being a nerd is not something to hide, soften, or apologize for. It is something to wear proudly.

We are firmly anti-bully. Always have been. Nerds have historically been on the receiving end of that nonsense, and HellaNerdy exists as a small act of rebellion against it. Intelligence is not arrogance. Curiosity is not weakness. Laughing at a good joke, especially one that makes other people uncomfortable, is a feature.

HellaNerdy is for people who are proud of their inner nerd and know how to laugh. If you enjoy clever humor, sharp wit, and designs that quietly say “I know things,” you’re in the right place. If you don’t, that’s okay too. There are plenty of other shirts out there.

This brand isn’t trying to save the world. It just wants to make designs people genuinely love and help normalize being unapologetically nerdy in public. Mission accomplished if someone smiles, nods knowingly, or asks “Wait… is that a joke?”
